PROJECT READ AND LEARN

it all began with the parish secretary asking sr. terezinha if she would be open to teaching catechism classes to an elementary school. it continued with her saying yes, bringing me along, and it was there that we found our niche.

as she was preparing for the lenten retreat she was going to be facilitating, she thought that it would be of utmost importance that we learn to give to other causes - such as, help our brothers and sisters with supplies they may need...

and so, turns out, one of our collaborators was also interested in finding a cause to help support. on feb. 7th, i introduced her to the school, and she and i organized and coordinated donors and supporters both near and far.

the outcome? the entire school of 119 students was fully equipped for their 2011-2012 school year! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR SUPPORT, PRAYERS, AND LOVE! We are grateful for you!
